About Kintara
Helping Businesses Work With Less Friction
We are a small Bangkok-based advisory firm. Our work is operational: we look at how tasks actually move through an organisation and help make that movement cleaner.

Built Around the Work Itself
Kintara was started by a small group of operations practitioners who had spent years working inside manufacturing plants, hotel groups and service companies across Southeast Asia. The work was often the same: an organisation had grown, added people, layered in tools, and somewhere in that process the clarity of who does what and when had faded.
The name Kintara comes from a figure in Thai mythology — a creature that is partly human, partly bird, known for moving gracefully between worlds. We liked the idea of something that can move between the floor-level view and the wider picture without losing either.
We opened our Bangkok office in 2019 and have since worked with operations teams in manufacturing, professional services and the hospitality sector. Our engagements are designed to be short, focused and to leave behind something your team can actually use.
Our Mission
A Clear Way of Working
We want every organisation we work with to end the engagement with a clearer picture of how their core processes run — and a set of practical adjustments they can act on without needing to call us again.
We surface what is actually happening, not what the org chart suggests.
Fewer hand-off points. Fewer ambiguous responsibilities. Clearer steps.
Documentation that your team will still refer to six months after we leave.
The People
Who You Work With
Our team is small by design. Each engagement is led by a senior practitioner, not handed to a junior analyst.
Pimchanok Thanasin
Lead Advisor
Fifteen years working across manufacturing and service operations in Thailand and Singapore. Specialises in process mapping and rollout planning.
Apirak Wattanasin
Operations Consultant
Background in hotel group operations and facilities management. Brings a floor-level view to process redesign and staff-facing documentation.
Siriwan Rakthai
Model & Structures Advisor
Focuses on cross-departmental operating model work. Has led structure reviews for professional service firms and growing B2B businesses in Bangkok.
How We Work
Our Standards in Practice
These are the principles that shape how we run each engagement from first conversation to final document.
Confidentiality First
All operational information, staff conversations and internal documents are treated as confidential. NDA available on request before any work begins.
Senior-Led Delivery
Every engagement is conducted by a practitioner with direct field experience, not an analyst learning on the job at your organisation's expense.
Scope Discipline
We define the scope clearly at the start and flag any expansion in advance. No surprise additions at invoice time.
Plain-Language Output
Deliverables are written in clear, accessible language. Process maps use your team's terminology, not consulting frameworks.
Evidence-Based Observations
We only put findings in our reports that we can trace back to specific conversations, task observations or existing documents. No assumptions dressed as facts.
Iterative Approach
Changes are introduced and reviewed in small cycles. If something does not work for your team, we adjust before moving forward rather than finding out at the end.
Our Expertise
Operations Advisory Across Bangkok's Key Sectors
Kintara works with operations teams in manufacturing, hospitality and professional services. These sectors share a common challenge: as organisations grow, the informal knowledge that holds processes together becomes harder to pass on and harder to maintain.
Process improvement work in a Bangkok manufacturing facility looks different from the same work in a service business in Silom — different shift patterns, different handoff points, different staff structures. We bring experience across both and adapt our methods accordingly.
Our operating model advisory engagements focus on the structural layer: how roles are defined, how departments hand off work to each other, and whether the tools in use are supporting or complicating the work. This is particularly relevant for organisations that have expanded through acquisition, rapid hiring or entry into new markets.
The Process Health Review was designed for teams that know something is wrong but cannot pinpoint it. A two-day review with the people doing the work is often enough to produce a clear picture and a practical list of adjustments that can be acted on immediately.
The Operations Improvement Programme is suited to teams that have identified the issues and are ready to redesign. We work alongside staff, run small tests, and document the agreed way of working in a form that will survive staff turnover and organisational change.
All engagements include a structured handover. We do not leave behind recommendations that require our continued involvement to interpret. The aim is for your team to be able to work from our documents independently within a reasonable period.
