What Teams Have Told Us

SK

Supakorn Kaewchai

Operations Manager · Pathum Thani

We brought Kintara in to look at our production handoff process, which had been causing delays for about two years. The review took about a week. What we got back was a clear map of where the time was actually going — some of it was genuinely surprising to us. The adjustments list was practical and we were able to act on most of it within a month.

Natnaree Phromma

General Manager · Bangkok Hospitality

The Improvement Programme was more involved than I expected — in a good way. Pimchanok and her colleague spent real time on the floor with our front-of-house and back-office teams, not just sitting in meetings with me. The documented procedures they produced are actually being used six months on, which is more than I can say for a previous engagement we did with another firm.

Wanchai Tangsomboon

COO · Mid-size Manufacturing, Samut Prakan

We used the Operating Model Advisory after a period of fairly rapid headcount growth. The current-state map they produced was uncomfortable reading in places — it showed clearly that we had three departments doing overlapping work and no one really owned the handoff between production and dispatch. The target outline gave us a sensible path forward. Still working through it.

Panida Srisom

Director of Operations · Service SME, Nonthaburi

I was a bit uncertain about the Process Health Review at first — it seemed too short to make a meaningful difference. But the process map they delivered identified two specific steps that were creating most of the rework in our client onboarding flow. We removed one entirely and simplified the other. The engagement paid for itself fairly quickly in time saved.

Chaiwat Lertchai

Plant Manager · Ayutthaya Province

Very straightforward to work with. Scope was clear from the start, pricing was as quoted, and the senior advisor was genuinely the person doing the work throughout — not somebody who showed up for the kickoff and then delegated. The training outline they included with the Improvement Programme was something we had not specifically asked for but turned out to be very useful for onboarding new shift supervisors.

Rujira Phanchan

Head of Ops · Professional Services, Silom

We had been operating with informal processes for years. When we started to grow and bring in new staff, things started to break. Kintara's Improvement Programme gave us a structured way of working for four of our core client delivery processes. The documentation is clear enough that our new staff can follow it independently, which was exactly what we needed.

Three Engagement Case Studies

These summaries describe the kind of situations we typically encounter and how our engagements have played out.

Case Study 01

Hospitality Group, Bangkok

Improvement Programme

Challenge

A hotel group's front-of-house check-in process was generating a significant number of complaints about wait times. Staff from three departments were involved but roles were poorly defined, leading to repeated hand-offs that added time without adding value.

What We Did

Spent two days observing the check-in flow across two shifts. Identified five redundant steps and two approval points that could be resolved by staff without escalation. Redesigned the procedure in collaboration with front desk and back-office leads, tested over two weeks.

Outcome

New procedure documented and handed over in week four. Approval steps reduced from four to two. Staff reported the new flow as significantly clearer. Procedure was incorporated into onboarding materials for new front desk hires.

"The map showed us that we had built in a lot of checking that nobody had questioned in years." — General Manager

Case Study 02

Manufacturing Operation, Chonburi

Operating Model Advisory

Challenge

A manufacturer had grown from 40 to 110 staff over three years. The informal communication that had worked at smaller scale was no longer reliable. Production, quality and dispatch were regularly in conflict over priorities, with no agreed escalation path.

What We Did

Conducted a six-week operating model review. Interviewed team leads across all three departments, mapped current handoffs, and identified where decision authority was unclear. Produced a current-state map showing overlapping responsibilities and an outline of a clearer departmental structure.

Outcome

Phased adjustment plan delivered covering structural changes across eight months. Leadership team used the target model as a basis for a department heads meeting that had not previously been possible. Implementation is ongoing.

"We finally had a document that showed the gap between how we thought we operated and how we actually operated." — COO

Case Study 03

Professional Services Firm, Sathorn

Process Health Review

Challenge

A consulting firm was losing time on its client proposal process. Proposals were consistently late, required multiple revisions after submission, and no one was clear on who owned which section or had final sign-off authority.

What We Did

Ran a five-day Process Health Review focused entirely on the proposal workflow. Traced the journey of three recent proposals through the organisation. Identified three steps where work regularly stalled and one approval loop that added a full day with no quality benefit.

Outcome

Process map and adjustments list handed over at end of week. Firm acted on four of the six adjustments in the first month. Proposal sign-off process was clarified and the redundant approval loop removed. Team reported the workflow as notably smoother.

"Short engagement, useful output. We knew something was wrong but couldn't see exactly where." — Director
